Its abit quiet on the forum ....

Maybe those big mouthed Everton, Liverpool, Man City, Chelsea and Spurs fans have gone and locked themselves away....

I see Burt handles the 1 frame pressure pool then - lol

Its a different game in the Abingdon league to best of 3 or 5 in Oxford where the best potters enjoy regular success.

Thanks for your praise on my recent performance.........

The week before was actually my first match in the Abingdon league where we played Wootton RBL and managed to win 10-5 personally I got 2/3 not bad really considering you being able to handle the pressure only got 1/3 on Sunday against the same team.

An excellent win last night, considering that none of us played any really outstanding pool in my opinion........especially my awful effort in the last frame!

Looking forward to playing the 'Oxford Select'..........sorry, the Oracle, next week biggrin

Wheatsheaf 10 vs 5 Red Lion 'A'

Great win by us last night and a BIG thank you to Pom who came over in the morning and ironed our table, which made a huge difference to the standard of play for both teams...

Maybe I'll sign on a couple of Blackbird players for when we play the Oracle, just to ad a bit o spice to the proceedings no

Pugh, biggrinbiggrinbiggrin
Barney McGrew, biggrincry

Unfortunately, due to the cuts in the Fire Service we're no longer recruiting people to join our little team...

Stop moaning you lot, at least I post who plays for me. I needed a couple of new players as Martin played his last match for me last week as he's moved to Bath to go to uni, and Mark played his last match last night as he's going back home to Bolton. Andy's got a bad back so wants a rest.
I'm sure you wouldn't turn down the chance of my new players in your team. Unlucky for you they chose my team.  nana.gif

Talk about Pot Kettle Black, you were one of the first to moan about letting the Crown House into the league, now you're playing for them.....
