Yes it certainly looks like the Crown House can handle the pressure,looking at the league table they have obviously been caught with their trousers hanging down on more than one occasion,maybe the trip to Abingdon is too far for them, maybe you should try some travel sickness pills!

Personally i think the Keys are a victim of the system and Crown House should run back to Oxford with their tails between their legs,as they are not setting a good example for Oxford pool.

Thats besides the point & im not stroking your ego disbelief . If i had played in teams with County standard players all the time then maybe i would of won as much as you, so maybe we need to look at who takes pool more seriously.........huh? wink

Yes we have formed a team that we feel strong enough to compete in the Abingdon league & im not denying that, of course we want to win, how did you win all your trophys if you didn't have the desire to form the best teams & want to win things, isn't that how you did it? otherwise what's the POINT hmm .

you also have to look at the other teams in our league, maybe you should check out the most wins sheet to see who is playing for who & see which other teams you think may of MANUFACTURED a winning side hmm i could name 3 (Prem/section one) but lets not drag them into this shall we.......

Jamie look at the league table we are ONE frame behind the cross keys so how is that a failure confuse lets wait until the final tables to see if we are a bunch of failures or not smile

& by the way Cross keys not taking things serously!! your having a laugh, of course they do & even more so this season with the standard of players in the league this year, they have a MASSIVE point to prove & that is there drive especially if they finish higher than us this season they would love nothing more than to GLOAT .........i should know i play thursday league with the same guy's biggrin biggrin

Really? Hae you not seen our banter during matches? We're probably, behind Wootton (and maybe Midget 'C'), the team with the best banter. We're not stone-cold set out on winning. Heck, look at our team, I don't even think we've got the strongest team. We've got good team spirit and we are playing well at the minute.

And as for Keys not taking it seriously, just take a look at the thread from one of the players about the % of players moving around in Abingdon.....nuff said. Another point to me. 2 - 0. Kerching.

With your conclusion that 50% of your players being from Oxford doesn't make you an Oxford team, surely having 50% from Abingdon doesn't make you an Abingdon team either? I think that the fact you're based in Oxford must be the deciding factor. Point deducted......kerching biggrin

it seems like you have a problem with the Crown House being from Oxford why?

Actually why does it matter if a player/Team is from Oxford or Abingdon or surrounding areas? the league is called ABINGDON & DISTRICT POOL LEAGUE

15 teams & 12 venues outside ABINGDON which technically are NOT Abingdon teams hmm
