Trials will be conducted based on single frames played to Blackball rules, using the swiss system (You should always end up playing someone who has won or lost the same number of frames as you, give or take a frame where necessary)

You will need to be ready to pay your annual subs, confirm any T-Shirt orders, receive your handbook, and then take part in the fun Blackball 5s competition (free).
Are there any wildcards? For example Peter de Banks isn't in the above list so presumably he failed to qualify or has been given a wildcard for topping the regional B team stats.

Surely Potter didn't need a wildcard?... As like myself, he was retained for the squad (and thus any team that required him) from his performance in the Seniors... or so I was told towards the end of the season.
They are different squads - just because a youth gets retained he isn't in the mens squad unless his age prevents him from playing youth the following season.

Great... Cheers Beefy... another crap analogy of a simple question! Who mentioned age? As it is, Jaz has replied to me, and sorted it out, seems a simple breakdown of communication was involved... not a problem.
I was merely concerned that Potter may not have needed the Wildcard which could of then been used for someone else, anyway turns out it's totally valid so no worries!
I know I'm retained for the Seniors, but as it stands I won't be playing any cue sports for the foreseeable future at the minute due to possible back surgery, won't know for definite until end of March but thats how it stands.
Please note that the trophies for the 2010/11 season (and youth pool series) will be given out at squad day on Sunday (27th March). Below is the complete list of trophy winners:

Thanks to everybody who came to squad day yesterday. It was great to meet our new players and to see so many of the youth playing so well (particularly against me as it happens... )
It was a fantastic turn out with over 65 players in the "Blackball 5s" tournament, our biggest tournament yet. Sarah Warne did an excellent job of running the day and mastering the mega complicated spreadsheet, helped by Justine. Thanks ladies you did a great job.
Winning team was:
Altaf Ali Shelly James Peter de Banks Josh Belcher Aaran Lewis/Lee McAllister
