Mixed Doubles & Ladies Singles

Due to circumstances beyond our control which will result in most of the Ladies being unavailable the Mixed Doubles & Ladies Singles has now been rescheduled to Sunday 10th April @ Oracle Snooker Club

Mixed Doubles at 5pm - Registration at 4.45pm

Ladies Singles at 7pm - Registration at 6.45pm

Pete Mac and Nicki Kinsey won the mixed doubles event yesterday.

Jaz and Nicki got to the final of the ladies singles, the final of which will be played on finals night...

Mixed final:

Lucky & Lucy 1 - 3 Pete & Nicki

Lucky 0 - 1 Nicki (got a bit of luck at the end...)
Lucy 0 - 1 Pete (break and dish)
Lucky & Lucy 1 - 0 Pete & Nicki
Lucy 0 - 1 Nicki (break and dish)

Apologies to Lucy for not getting a shot in either of her singles matches!

In the ladies singles, the semis were:

Jaz 3 - 1 Charli (I think that was the score)
Nicki 3 - 0 Hazel

and Katie and Claire just missed out on a semi-final place from a one-frame shoot out with Charli and Nicki respectively.

Was a good night, look forward to the final!

HAZEL-NUT CRACKED AT SEMI-FINAL STAGE of LADIES SINGLES

Kenningtons Nicki Kinsey followed up her success in the Mixed Doubles by knocking out the defending Champion (and too many times to mention winner) Hazel Dabrowski 3-0 in the Semi-Final of the Ladies Singles.

Nicki will play Jaz Venning (Oracle) in the Final. Jaz who beat Charli Viner (Cross Keys) 3-1 in the other Semi-Final is playing in her 3rd consecutive Final and will be hoping to finally get her hands on the Winners Trophy, having lost to Hazel on both previous occasions.

biggrin lol, I'm just disappointed I didn't get to knock Hazel out personally!!! Never mind, Nicki will just have to do... wink   

The trouble is I fear the runners-up trophy has got rather fond of me hmm

Kev there are a couple of mistakes in your scores... Our mixed final was 3-1 not 3-0, and Jaz beat Charli in the semis, not Katie!

Is the final being played on finals night?

I believe it is 7pm and Hazel is going to be the Referee for both Finals.

Simon and I are playing the Captains cup (best of 5) at 5pm due to late conclusion of his side of the draw last Sunday to give Hazel time to rebrush and ironed before you start.
