can any of you lay black ball rules...or good enough lol.....why don't you pick your best 6 and get them to haven to prove it.....can you find 6 pool players good enough is the question....bring as many teams as you can.....numbers might help you lot get by the first round
Oxfordshire have a lot of top quality players good enough to enter this comp, im sure once word gets about there maybe some interest..........just one problem....327 miles from Oxford to Berwick & 5 hours 50 mins in a car .......that might be the only stumbling block
But seriously though it does sound like a great event, just a shame im not good enough or i might of entered

who says your not good enough.....but i agree with you in respect of distance...however , if yourself or others could get a team together and back up your boast of you having the players available to win this....come up , your more than welcome to try and beat scottish opposition..england,ireland and wales have tried and failed nearly every year in bridlington...hey but maybe your lot are a cut above..
Mate i got to be honest, thats hardly a diss considering england failure to win anything for almost 50 years but on the pool thats a hefty amount of travelling!
There seems to be a lot of tournaments like this popping up at the mo. It sounds good but who needs to go all the way to Scotland?! Surely we could come up with something similar (or even better) here in Oxfordshire, especially with the popularity of pool around here at the mo. I'm sure there are plenty of players from all the local legaues who'd come and have a go and enter a team.............sort of like an Oxfordshire inter-league championship. Lots of friendly rivalry and banter would ensue for definite
forget about pipe dreams..we should do this , we should do that..worlds full of dreamers....seems most are from oxford lol.... get your best team together and shows us scottish players how to play pool not talk it.........challenge is there.......are you limping out or what ?

Are you offering to ferry us all there and back......or what? Naaah, I think we'll organise our own tourney......then you can travel down here and give us a pasting instead, seeing as you Scots travel so well
And I must correct myself.......Berwick is of course in England, not Scotland
organise a tournament your having a laugh....you can't even find berwick...lol
lol, he knows you well DocJ...
I'll see you next week in Brid shuffler

Gentlemen, be nice. Surely the active promotion of any competition in the sport we love should be encouraged? Getting an annual event on the calender needs a hefty amount of time and effort for those organising it.
Good luck with the event, Shuffler, even if it's a little too far away to tempt any of our players.
kind words sir...much appreciated.....i do appreciate the distance involved is probably a little too much..however , the offer stands and i will go away now as in one of your posts suggests i've over stayed my welcome....been fun though....
and as a final note.....i'd like to say...love your avatar.....i hope you don't mind if i borrow it.....
GUYS , GUYS , GUYS what happened in bridlington....? scotland made a complete clean sweep again......the organisation are contemplating adding any scottish players with any sort of connection with english heritage and drop you lot and have them represent you lot...it's getting more and more embarrassing for them seeing you ,wales and ireland just turn up to make up the numbers......and the scorelines scotland win by suggests you lot take up some other sport....it's no wonder you WON'T come up to berwick if you can't win in home territory.......
next year it's to be re-named the " Scottish European Championships and Also Rans "
Get a calendar of annual events, you need a time and energy on those organizations substantially. Of course, we love the sport of competition, should be encouraged to actively promote?
