A big thank you to Peachcroft, cheap beer & good food, we'll definately be back (hopefully table in big room next year)
Best Finals Night in a long time, very boisterous and Finals played in most part in good spirits, but missed the highlight of the evening - King Gee pouring his pint on the floor, what a waste...
Well done Tashy, Jaz, Boinky & Hazel (the ref)

Well done Kev for putting on a great finals night. I very much enjoyed the night.
There certainly was plenty of atmosphere - although there were times during the mens final when the banter got a bit heavy and there was inappropriate shouting out when people were actually taking their shots which threatened to spoil the match. But no one ended up getting punched, much to my great surprise, so that was a relief!!
I was delighted to finally get my hands on the ladies winners trophy after 3 years of trying - I was beginning to think the runners-up trophy had become a permanent fixture in my flat! It was a good match with some very high standard pool for the most part. I broke-dished the first frame, and surged into a 3-0 lead, only to faulter getting over the line and Nicki clawed her way back into the match. At 3-3 Nicki looked favourite in the deciding frame but I took out an ambitious clearance with a couple of ridiculous pots and was left having to double the black... and er, i accidentally got the treble instead sorry...
