Such a good result we thought we'd post it twice
Your post is a bit easier to read than the previous one tbh.
Oracle A were due to play Cross Keys A at home tonight, but a phone call to the club at 7:30pm tonight said they didn't have a team and weren't coming so we won!
A great win for us last night! Unfortunately, the evening was completely ruined by a very unsavory and nasty incident right at the end. I'm not going to name names or go in to details because this sort of thing shouldn't really be aired on the forum, and will only cause a ruckus if I do. I dare say details will filter through soon enough anyway.........

As I said, details will probably surface sooner or later. We're going through the proper channels rather than just sticking it on the forum and causing another major debate (not usually like me, I know ).
Seriously though, this wasn't the usual case of a minor falling out or something similar, and i'd rather not say anything just yet........if that's OK with you of course?

so com on then doc j lets have MOORE info and headline news
With one match left, 7 of the 8 teams that will contest the Summer Cup have been decided, a draw for Abingdon RBL 'A' at home to Peachcroft 'B' will secure their place in the Cup, defeat will see Peachcroft snatch the fnal place. Early pacesetters Marlboro Club have probably blown their chance of a home Quarter-Final as they suffered a shock defeat at lowly Abingdon Town , looks like "el captitano fantastico" will return to the side on Sunday....
The two unbeaten teams; Midget 'C' & Oracle 'A' continue their fine form with convincing wins but alas, as it always is in the Summer League, they ain't won nothng yet...
Places in the Summer Shield are still up for grabs as only 3 points seperate the teams from 9th to 16th place.
The Summer Plate & Summer Medal places are likey to be decided by frame difference. The 4 top teams in the Plate even have a chance of making the Shield should they win their final match and other results go their way. Either way, it's still all to play for...

Yes James and a win for us next week should mean we are in opposite halves of the draw to the Crown House A team and probably playing either the keys or marlborough depending on the result between them, a win for the keys would see us play them away (4th v 5th) but a defeat by the Malborough would see us at home to the marlbourgh or Peachcroft (depending on the MC winning margin) as they would be 5th and we would be 4th assuming the slaughter house don't suffer a shock defeat as we did earlier in the season away at the Railway........
All Slaughter house final hopefully.........
