Both original swan A and B are still in the league, and have prmised to fulfill the remainder of their fixtures for the season. Both are on their last life tho - one more no-show and they're out.  But the landlord assures me they will be turning up from now on.

Thanks Jaz, and we WILL be there on Monday night.

I thought there was no choice with the "B" team. (i.e. they had missed 2 matches?)

I have made an exception in this case. I had an in-depth discussion with the landlord who was very annoyed about having paid the fees only for his team not to turn up whilst he was on holiday for 3 weeks. He has taken over the captaincy and promised me all remaining fixtures will be played. It is my view that in this instance it is more beneficial to keep Section 3 full rather than having a bye in the section. Of course, if there is one more no-show from either Original Swan team, they will be out, regardless.

 It has to be a bit of a gap because I need time to do the plate draw, send info out, get the prelim round of the plate played, and then be ready to go at same time as main KO quarter finals.

Plate draw will take place this week, just when I have some independent peeps around to do it (maybe tonight using my Thurs league team if I get organised)

Unlike last year we didn't throw away a 2-0 lead- although it looked like we might when they pulled it back to 2-2.  Our man Stoppa held his nerve though and we were deserving winners in my opinion.
