We continued our winning run with the first really serious test:

Demos 'B' 3-2 Crown House 'A'

Jimmy Millar 2-0 Andrew Gee

Anthony Stopp 2-1 Shaun Taylor

 

Really good match, with Stoppa and Potter battling away for ages for the final points.  Our man eventually won 2-1 with a cracking double on the black.

Ta to Emma and Ash P-L for supplying the food as we were unable to this week.

It has been brought to my attention that there is a massive howler on the fixture list. The secretary, clearly having a senior moment, has got Easter taking place on the wrong weekend!! oops...

The approach I am going to take is to send out a new fixture list with this corrected, which will happen over the christmas period. Look out for these in your pub/club early Jan to enure the revised fixtures are the ones now displayed. This will also allow me to indicate the change of venue (Jolly Postboys) and removal of Rileys A.

Apologies again for being a bit of a dimwit.
