Was closer than the scoreline suggests, at least two of the frames we pinched on the black ball after thinking the frame was lost. And thanks to Kev for inserting one of his trademark 45 minute frames into proceedings. yawn

Yeah, always a shame if particularly later round matches don't get played. Dunno the ins and outs of it all on this occasion.

Anyway, final was 5-4 win to me & Kev. It was a good final, Kev and I kept putting the work in to all but win the frame and then fluff it on the black! I also managed to pot the black early in one of the frames which didn't help... But Kev pulled himself together just as I started to wobble and took out a good finish in the deciding frame after Jamey missed his break and dish. Laura played a few excellent shots and pinched a couple of frames for them too.. I think the girlies pulled their weight in this one!

Well played Mr McIlroy - I think we made a good team wink
