This year's Town v  Gown Ladies event will be taking place this saturday! Any supporters are most welcome!

28 April at 12pm 
@ The Crown House Club

The 5-man team being fielded by the TOWN team this year is as follows:

Hannah Francombe
Hazel Debrowski
Lorraine Owen
Charli Viner

It was a really good match yesterday.

GOWN 3-2 TOWN

Clare Jackson 3-0 Hazel Dabrowski

Louise Marshall 3-2 Lorraine Owen

Hannah Beaven 2-3 Hannah Francombe

Shaina Yang 0-3 Charli Viner

Conny Meisenberg 3-0 Carrie Francombe

 

Clare got the Gown off to a great start with an awesome display of potting (and on occasions a less than awesome display of positioning!), and they then went 2-0 up in a very good match between Lou and Lorraine.  Another tight match followed between the two Hannah's with the Town getting the win with two cracking final pots under pressure.  Charli was patient and played some great stuff to level the match and take it into a decider, where Conny got the Gown back on track with some great clearances to beat Carrie and win the title for the Gown.

Town now lead Gown 5-3 in victories since the tournement started.
