I've just found out that the IPA mens tour is changing from World Rules to Blackball rules next year. I wonder what impact this will have on the EPA and their future.

What are your thoughts?

Sounds like the EPA are in a bit of trouble?

Gareth Potts has been bemoaning the current situation with the EPA World Championships: http://www.cueclubinternational.com/ViewArticle.aspx?ArticleID=2129 - he certainly doesn't seem like a happy bunny!

Ash, the article by Gareth Potts is not the EPA WC but an independant organisation call a tournament the Professional WC's played to BB Rules (not the official BB WC)

Hard to say what impact the IPA playing BB next year will have on EPA, personally I don't think it'll have much impact; BB players will replace any EPA players who will no longer enter if there's a threat of a ban.

It should however, give a bit of kudos for BB overall
