It has been necessary to move the Mens County Championships as the EBPF have move their AGM which certain committee members are required to attend and it now clashes.

NEW date for the mens County Championship is

I do apologise for any inconvenience caused.

Well done to Kate Challen for winning the ladies county championship yesterday, beating Nicki Hoskins in the final

Congratulations to Frankie Merola, who won the youth championship final against Callum Vinall

Congratulations to Pom Merola who beat Altaf Ali 3 - 1 (I think) in the Seniors championship over the weekend.

Pom never lost a match in the double eliminator format...thanks to me letting him off the hook in the deciding frame of our winners final match. Altaf then got revenge in our rematch of an earlier game by allowing me one shot and a break in 3 frames in the losers half final.

TBC but apparently I took the retained place (according to DC) by finishing effectively 3rd... assuming both Pom and Altaf are already retained.

Thanks for the posting of my result Beefy . Yeh final result was correct and i also think you retained yourself once you reached the semi's so must be ok . as me and Altaf are already retained .

I can confirm that Pom and Altaf are already retained
(not previously shown on county stats as retention mark was wrongly based on 10 matches instead of 9 as it should be, now I have adjusted for this both these two players made the mark)

Keith hollis therefore receives the county championship retention place providing there were at least 8 players in attendance at the championship - pls can someone confirm?

The county stats showing all this will be uploaded after the weekend when we have the mens championship results as well.
