There are a numer of positions up for re-election this year, with various incumbents choosing not to restand for next year. So I have decided to advertise these positions slightly earlier than usual to give people sufficient time to consider if they would like to stand, and to enquire about the posts if they have any questions. Remember some detail about these positions is included within our constitution
Please note the following positions will be up for election at the 2013 AGM. Current position holder shown in brackets
Under 23's Manager* (new position - open for nominations) Ladies Asistant Manager (Sarah Warne - will be vacant) Chairmen (Sheree Houseman - will be vacant) Youth Manager (Justine Houseman - will be vacant) Secretary (Jaz Venning - restanding) Treasurer (Keith Hollis t.b.c.) Mens C Team Manager (Jamie Saczak - will be vacant) Seniors Manager (Dave Crawford t.b.c.) Players Representative (Emma Penny-Larter t.b.c.)
*We plan to amend the constitution at the AGM to add the new Under 23s manager position, also as a 2 year post, providing this section is retained by the EBPF for that length of time.
Additionally there will be re-election for Senior B captain (currently Andy Moss). This position will however remain a non-committee position.
Where I am uncertain if the current incumbent intends to restand, I have put t.b.c until I receive confirmation. Please let me know as soon as possible whether you intend to restand.
Anyone, including the incumbent holder, wishing to stand for any of the aforementioned positions should contact the OCPF Secretary prior to the nomination closing date: midnight on Sunday 7th April 2013.
If no nominations are received for positions up for re-election and the incumbent holder is standing for re-election, or where only one nomination is received, said person will be automatically elected/re-elected. Where two or more candidates are standing, an election for said position will take place at the AGM.
Where no nominations are received by the close of nominations date, then the position will become vacant prior to the AGM and nominations for the vacant positions will be accepted up to 5 minutes prior to the AGM.
The names of candidates will be posted on the web by Tuesday 9th April 2013.
Motions for consideration at AGM
Any current OCPF member may propose a motion for consideration at the AGM. Current members will be retained squad members or successful trialist for the 2013/14 season.
The motion must be received by the Secretary before midnight on Sunday 7th April. Motions should be in writing/email and contain a proposer and seconded by another member. The current committee may at their discretion permit motions received late.
Motions will also be posted on the forum by Tuesday 9th April.

Each member will have the opportunity to speak and explain why they would be best at the role they are standing for. A vote will then take place (which can be a blind vote if requested)
Proposals:
- Some minor corrections to the constitution as per Secretary. Copies will be circulated at AGM to illustrate what is changing.
The constitution will require a few minor amendments, including changing permissions to allow the same person to hold both the assistant manager and youth manager roles which appears to be excluded in error at present.

Frankie Merola has now withdrawn his application, therefore Peter deBanks is automatically elected as Under 23 Manager and will take up his post from the AGM onwards
Just a reminder about the AGM this Sunday at 11am, followed by trophy presentation and then squad day!
Please note if you are unable to attend the trophy presentation then please ensure you have instructed someone to collect your trophy on your behalf, otherwise you will not be able to collect at a later date!
