Things not to say when you're playing for the awayteam at a county pool match, in a rugby club bar, in Bath, whilst there are 100 locals watching Bath Rugby Club live on Sky Sports (losing):

"Why is this rubbish sport on TV?  Why can't we watch the football?  Rugby is a ridiculous sport..."

Well done Beefy, top marks for risking your own life whilst in strange and foreign climes and inducing many "He's not with us" comments from other Oxfordshire players.

Excuse Me thats not what happened at all ! I merely stated that I thought in my personnel opinion Rugby was a stupid game becuase it seems a game where one risks untold injuries but like all games there are always some people that want to play.

I think you will fiind it was Kevin that was stirring the hornets nest by ACTUALLY going up to 4 lads who had stolen the table for the food and going on about the result and football.

We WERE ALL watching the Chelsea game with interest until it was turned over and that what what prompted me to say why have they turned it over to watch a game that meant nothing as the results were already decided.

I sure as hell did not say it in such as way to upset the general people in the venue unlike some one else who's name is not mentioned on here.

I also noticed that when the Man Utd game came on everyone was slagging the rugby so done single me out on this one !

I think you need to check this stat out there wasn't even a hundred people in the bar !

I counted a dedicated number of 4 sat right in front of the screen and there may have been a hand ful of other families scattered through the bar !

People were paying more attention to a couple of kids who thought playing on chairs like they were space hoppers was more fun than the RUGBY ! Got to admire there imagination on that one.....

Well that's ok then.  Phew, for a moment I thought you were going to admit you said something out loud that would probably have been better kept to yourself!

What an exageration Barney the room was only about the stwice the size of Kennington Social Clubs main lounge area about 30' * 20' , so that gives you a pretty good idea on how many people it holds and it wasn't even half full ! (max capiticy absolutely packup 150 )

I am glad you not a fire regulations officer in that case.....or else they would have been trouble.

The car park was full and that was no more than 20 cars when we got there...... and I know a lot of people left when I moved my car at 1.45 after blocking 3 in !

Yeah, Barney. Can't believe you'd make such an outlandish statement without at least studying the architects design documents. Unless of course you were just being sarcastic? Good old Beefy - I heard even with sat-nav he got lost!

Well that is true we went the scenic way but were never lost we were given the wrongroad and like any equipment garbage in = garbage out. It took us to where we told it to go albeit the road we were given was incorrect and so we used good old fashoined 2003 atlas to get there !
