Hey I might have been the first to knock the cues over in the darkest of corners in colours Yesterday but I certainly wasn't the only one !
Our survey said UH-UH to the others as well.

On paper I would put that team down to win at least 5-2 against nearly any side in Oxford but as I don't know the students I would have to say that given three are playing on their own table, I would go for a 4-3 win to town.
Wins from Malc, Kevin, Jimmy and Richard.
But in the true spirit of any match one of the above will probably get an upset.....

dont hold much hope for mr ball winning after he got his backside kicked tonight by a student 2-0 and the team going down 3-2 berkshire had a bad night, me and isty the only winners
All i can say is good luck to you all, also you might get offerd a drink, if the students have got any money which i doubt

Did none of them offer the winners a drink - understandable if the winners did not take one of your team but still in the spirit of competition and the league rules - shame on them !

I'm afraid that another of my team has withdrawn as he has to go home at the weekend for unforeseen reasons. So Lei Xiao (Somerville) will replace Geraint Morgan (Merton).
Sorry about the late changes - I originally finalised the team over 2 weeks ago so I am more annoyed than anyone about having to change things.
Hope it's a good match. I think the Town will win 6-1 this year, based on the names entered. Though Ian had a good win over Nathan on Monday, and the Gown always seem to play above themselves in this event (no disrespect, but there are some BIG names in the Town team), so you never know!
The bump on my head has just about gone down (no doubt the report will explain to all what I am on about!!) Never seen play with a rest like it before!!
I thought we were looking at a 7-0 at one point. Obviously the "encouragement" that we were all giving Tom, didn't work....
Will look forward to next year, few more beers too...
