I believe there were about 30ish entries on the day with some youth and womens players included in the competition.
It was an interesting day and well Lee if you saw some of the potting I tried after the comp playing friendly with some of the youth players you would have been in histerics. Lets just say they were flying in from all angles with perfect position at times a la wheat sheaf game against Phil !
Nathan played well not dropping a singe frame beating Ben in the final of a double eliminator match.
Nice to get some practice at these rules and I must say some interesting conculsions watching some of the games.
I think Ming needs to set up a school of how to snooker as some of the all out potters we have looked a bit at 6 and 7's when someone took them on at their own game and found themselves having to snooker to win the game becuase they still had all their balls on the table.
Its not so easy when cushions are involved unless you are used to playing that way - hey ming !
No cash prizes this time as this is a squad day not a competition day ! Its about practice and winning frames against your fellow team members.
May be we should have another one later on with a cash prize who knows............
