There will be a pool comp in Witney oxfordshire at Q's (used to be Bee's) pool club, be there at 12pm and the comp should start at 1pm i think, think it is a 5 pound entrance fee and winners takes all or there abouts.


Should be fun.

No Kev there is Interleague, EPA county and Black bool pool.


I see now why he / she said its easy money as most of the big players in Oxford will be elsewhere that day.... sneeky !

Actually it isn't EPA county, our region don't play in August, but yes - it is interleague at Colours.

It should be a really good comp we have got 68 of the worlds greatest players coming including, pagalyon,strickland and lol, no just kidding but there will be a few county players there and it should be fun if anyone knows any pro's that want to do a show or display that would be cool. Anyway see you all there that are not playing interleague. If you have any question text me on 07971730095 (James)  Jason is organising it but i'll pass on questions etc. or ring Q's on 01993 703385 any evening and ask for Jason.

That was a good match today, fair result i think, weird those other 2 teams didn't turn up though.  Very strange, mind you half of our players didn't realise it was on lol, chris rung stuart and he came half asleep lol. You played well beefy.

Abingdon 9 - witney 9 we then lost a 3 frame decider 3 - 0 (Kev, Jimmy and Hazel)


Second match same team due to missing opponents - same score 9 - 9 this time we won the 3 frames playoff.


Played 5 - Won 4 lost 1 to a Danish Fluke ! after the most bizarre of in offs by myself.


Am not sure but think the top three were


Hazel  P6 won W5 L1


Jimmy and myself level P5 W4 L1


I am sure Queenie will have all the stats or may be Chris as she took the sheets.


We were 9 - 6 up in the first match too Marcus how did you miss that yellow......

I had a bye in the 1st round, then played a 15 year old lad who didn't really know the rules, so had it easy till then. Quarter final was against Ricky Jones (Chris Jones' brother) who is a reasonably good player and does know the rules. Jamey Street beat Chris Chapman (Chris Jones' boyfriend) and who is ranked 18th out of over 100 on the Gangsters tour in another quarter final match, but by then the good old Strongbow was kicking in so I beat Jamey 4-3. I played Lewis Calcutt in the final who I've known since he was 9 (and he kicked my arse then in the Witney singles). He is now 15 and kicked my arse again 5-1. I won £35 as runner up though.

WELL DONE HAZEL, VERY WELL PLAYED. I HAVEN'T SEEN YOU PLAY BEFORE AND TO TELL YOU THE TRUTH I HAVE NEVER BEEN THAT IMPRESSED BY WOMAN'S POOL (sorry) BUT YOUR GAME YESTERDAY WAS VERY GOOD. I dunno who woodridgewinner is but I cannot agree with his lack of time for the womens game in general. Obviously he hasn’t (until last weekend) been playing/watching the right ladies.


I'd challenge you for a tenner mate, but I think I'd prefer to know who you are first
