I am sure the committee has thought about these points and will continue to do so. Any changes for next season will reflect the general feeling of the playing membership.
Can I suggest this thread is kept to the original point of an Abingdon v Oxford match which has nothing whatsoever to do with Sunday League pool.

So as this is a challenge match between the Oxford SUNDAY pool league and the Abingdon SUNDAY pool league, that has nothing to do with Sunday pool ?????

It wasn't until the 11th reply to the original thread that said anything about Sunday League and that was Beefy.
Until two people decide to captain a team each and decide on the rules/entry criteria etc this idea has nothing to do with Sunday League pool.
However if two teams/players from Abingdon and Oxford's Sunday League want to get a match going then they obviously can. This thread, however, shouldn't be seen to discount players who don't play in any Sunday League....yet.
