Whether you like playing, drinking or watching, this weekend has it all. For those of you who have been before, it's gonna be another cracker, for those of you who are thinking of coming along, you wont be disappointed.

Here are all the details you will need. Please book early, especially if you want to stay at the Thistle hotel, they book up quickly!

It will all take place at Gangsters Pool Club in Swindon on 15th-17th December 2006, all matches played to World rules and there is over £5,000 in cash and prizes, all fully guaranteed.

For the early birds, there is a Friday night flyer, register at 8.00pm, starts at 8.30pm, £320 guaranteed, limited to 32 runners at £10 entry. Re-entry system applies, all matches over 5 frames, ladies get a frame start on all men, pay for tables.

Saturday kicks off with the Supreme Open at 11.00am, £2,400 in prize money, £800 going to the winner paying down to £50 for reaching the last 16. Matches over 11 frames to the Q-finals, handicaps apply.

Entry fee is £40, 25% discount for fully paid up Grand Prix players, ladies half price. No matches are called after 6.00pm as we set up for the Trickshot event.

The National Trickshot Championships will commence at 8.30pm, each player will draw for order and have 10mins to perform a routine of their choice and will be marked by a panel of four judges. The players competing this year are:

Ben Flack
Wayne Smith
Tim Williamson
Oly Bale
Steve Smith
Keith Jones
Paul Stevens
Chris Melling (tbc)

A slightly different line-up this year, unfortunately, Daniel Davy is away in New Zealand and Leo "the Hat" McMakin, a previous winner has sadly passed away and one minutes silence will be observed before this event commences.

A full presentation takes place after the marking and then its our end of season disco and drinking session to the very early hours as Gangsters has a 24 hour licence.

The open will continue on the Sunday from 11.30am and there will also be a plate event, £10 entry, this a money-in, money-out event.

These championships are run and promoted by Supreme Pool Promotions.

For entry forms or any other details, please contact Keith Brewer on 07710-649305 or email at supremepooluk@hotmail.com

Look forward to seeing you all there.

Full details for Gangsters Grand Prix in 2007 will be out in the new year, again to reserve a place or to receive further deatails, contact Keith at the above email.

I hope to see lots of you there. I'm hoping to go as I have done for about the past 5 years. It really is a superb weekend and a great way to celebrate Xmas.

Me, Potter and Beefy are going so far.
Tim Williamson will be there but he won't be competing in the Trickshot competition.
